A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. This page lists every one this site uses and what it is for.
Strictly necessary
These make the site work. They carry no advertising identifier.
- locale — remembers the language you chose, so you are not sent back to English on every page. One year.
- sessionid — keeps you signed in to the administration area. Only set if you sign in.
- csrftoken — proves that a form was submitted from this site and not from somewhere else. One year.
Analytics
These tell us which pages are read and where people give up. They are used in aggregate; we do not try to identify you from them.
- Our own analytics — a first-party record of pages viewed and how far down them people scroll. It does not leave our server.
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager — standard Google cookies (_ga and similar), up to two years.
Advertising
- Meta Pixel — measures whether an advert led to an enquiry. Sets _fbp, up to three months.
Controlling them
Every browser can block or delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will break the language switcher and the forms. Blocking the others costs you nothing and costs us only information.
For what happens to the data behind these cookies, see the privacy policy.
